Um die Deutschkenntnisse unserer Schülerinnen noch zu verbessern, suchen wir für diverse Aktivitäten Deutsch-Lehrkräfte. Die Aktivitäten können Sprachcamps in den Ferien sein, wöchentliche Nachmittagsaktivitäten, Bibliotheks- und Lese-Aktivitäten oder eine regelmäßige Teilzeit- oder Vollzeitstelle zur Unterstützung des regulären Unterrichts.

Wir wünschen uns KandidatInnen mit dem folgenden Profil:

• Deutschsprachkennntnisse auf Muttersprachler-Niveau, idealerweise DAF-Ausbildung
• Hohe fachliche und methodische Kompetenz
• Lokale Arbeitserlaubnis

We are currently looking for teachers in the subjects in various subjects, such as Hebrew, German, Music, SST, Science, Mathematics and IT. The job percentage (part time / fulltime) is flexible. Start date is September 2026.

Requirements

• Hora’a teacher qualifications according to the MoE is a must.
• Excellent classroom practitioner who is dedicated to enabling each child to achieve the highest possible standards.
• Very good communication skills, also in English (written and oral communication)
• High level of commitment and willingness to work collaboratively with an international team

Schmidt-Schule Jerusalem is seeking a reliable and responsible Gatekeeper to ensure a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our students, staff, and visitors. Working Hours are full-time Monday to Thursday and Saturday 07:00 – 16:00h. The position becomes available in August 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor access to the school compound
• Ensure a secure and controlled entry and exit process for students, staff, and visitors
• Screen and announce visitors before granting access
• Operate and monitor CCTV and security systems

Requirements

• School graduation certificate
• Experience in a similar role (security, reception, or facility support)
• Strong communication skills (English is an advantage)
• Ability to operate CCTV/security systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliability, attentiveness, and a strong sense of responsibility
• Commitment to the values of an international school environment
